MINEFILL 2020 – 2021
Due to the still dynamic and unpredictable situation regarding restrictions on international travel, freedom of crossing borders and the possibility of organizing international conferences in the conditions of the still-present threat of COVID-19 coronavirus, the Organizing Committee of the International Symposium Minefill 2020 decided to transfer the Symposium to next year. The symposium under the name Minefill 2020 – 2021 will be held on May 24-28, 2021. The place and framework program of the Symposium remains unchanged. Papers submitted so far and accepted for oral presentation and printing are transferred automatically. Participants will be informed about changes in the detailed schedule of the Symposium at a later date. Participants who have already registered in the Symposium will be informed individually by e-mail.
We are pleased to announce that after the arrangements with the Advisory Board, a new date for the Symposium was set on May 25-28, 2021. The planned Workshop will take place on May 24, 2021. It is possible to submit new articles and register new participants. Details of the participants registered so far will be sent to the individual e-mail addresses of the participants.

Deadline for payment

Due to the great interest in the Symposium and numerous requests for extending the deadline for accepting applications and abstracts, we would like to inform you that the Organizing Committee is extending the deadline for accepting applications and abstracts until September 15 2019.
Service and Ground transportation
Katowice is very easy to reach. The nearest airport is Katowice Pyrzowice Airport (KTW) – (highly recommended)- 30 minutes by car to Katowice. If you choose another airport: Kraków Balice Airport (KRK)– 3, 5 hour by train or 1,5 hour by car to Katowice, WROCŁAW AIRPORT (WRO)– 2,5 hours by car or 3 hours by train to Katowice, Warszawa Airport (WAW)- 4 hours by car or 3 hours by train to Katowice.
Visa and travel documents to Poland
If you want to attend our Symposium, you may need a visa to enter Poland. We encourage you to contact the Polish Embassy or Consulate near your location to determine how to apply and probable time required for the visa processing. We suggest arranging your travel and securing appropriate documents in a timely manner.
You may send the an email to the conference office (firstname.lastname@example.org) including your complete address and other eligible information to request an invitation letter for assisting your Polish visa application.
Dress code and climate
The recommended symposium attire is business casual. Temperatures in Poland range from 18° to 26° degrees Celsius in April.

In Poland, there are banking institutions affiliated with international banks. Major credit cards are generally accepted throughout Poland including Maestro Card, Master Card and Visa Card.
